CNN —Spanish soccer club Athletic Bilbao finally put an end to decades of heartbreak at the weekend and now the team and its fans are about to enjoy a unique celebration on water. Though it is now a longstanding tradition, it is one which has only occurred twice before in the club’s history. But Athletic is undoubtedly one of the most unique football clubs in the world. “Athletic touches the sky,” wrote Spanish sports newspaper Diario AS after the victory. A taboo word no longer, La Gabarra will on Thursday once again sail down the Nervión as the city celebrates its new generation of local heroes.

CNN —Concorde, the world’s fastest commercial aircraft, has been making a rare journey – floating down New York’s Hudson River. The British Airways Concorde, one of only 20 of the supersonic aircraft to ever fly, has been en route back to NYC’s Intrepid Museum after being sanded and recoated during several months of restoration. The last ever flight by a Concorde was made on November 26, 2003. That aircraft, known as Delta Foxtrot, is now housed in Aerospace Bristol, an aviation museum in the west of England. Tours of Intrepid’s Concorde will resume on April 4, the museum says.

Australian researchers believe a shipwreck off the coast of Rhode Island is that of the HMS Endeavor. Previously, their claim was contested by their research partner, The Rhode Island Maritime Archeology Project. The Rhode Island Maritime Archeology Project did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment regarding the recent announcement of evidence. "We would like to work with the Rhode Island government to do that," Hosty told the outlet. "If it means working with Rhode Island Maritime Archaeology Project we'll work with them; we'll work with anyone who is willing to help us on this site."

Rolex’s Perpetual Planet initiative has partnered with CNN to drive awareness and education around key sustainability issues and to inspire positive action. The marine biologist and amateur photographer captured the photo on a blackwater dive – a night dive in the open ocean, which uses floodlights to attract the ocean nightlife. Thousands of entrants submitted underwater and coastal images, as well as pictures captured by drone, to the competition, organizers said. From world-class drone images of megafauna to breath-taking underwater images of deep-dwelling ocean wildlife, the full spectrum of ocean life is brought to life like never before. A selection of the winning and highly commended images can be seen in the gallery above.

The Dad Canon (Circa Now)

But to be honest, it didn’t really make me feel like a dad, let alone the number one dad. Neither had I), I’ve come to see the old dad ways a little more sympathetically, and with some measure of recognition. Still, the touchstones of Boomer dad culture have outlived their descriptive usefulness for younger generations. What, we might ask, is dad culture in 2023? Finally, the new dad culture has definitely not found it necessary to put away childish things.

I've budgeted $50,000 for travel in 2019, and I'm not the least bit sorry. That said, we also choose to spend on travel over other things, like living in a bigger home or driving fancier cars. Keep in mind though, we would spend considerably more on travel (or need to travel less) if not for points and miles. Travel is a learning experienceMy kids are 8 and 10 years old, and our travel experiences have exposed them to so much history. The bottom lineWhile $50,000 is a lot of money to spend on travel (or anything, really), I don't regret our travel splurges at all.
